Our popular volunteer program is ideal for adults of all ages who enjoy the great outdoors, love adventure, and are willing and able to meet the needs of our guests.

Volunteers can choose our Weekend Warrior option or our popular Volunteer Week. Our Volunteer Week participants come from all over the world, and some stay on for several months because they love it!

Here's how it works: volunteers live, work and play at the REO resort on the Nahatlatch River. We provide all meals, beverages, shared cabin tent lodging and a range of adventure activities. In exchange, volunteers offer 30 hours per week (25 hours if not participating in any activities).

Depending on skills, interests and our bookings, our volunteers may help prepare and serve meals, assist with kitchen and camp clean-up, housekeeping, trip logistics, lands and buildings maintenance, new construction, guest services, etc. Please let us know what your skills, interests and experience is when you apply.

Volunteers are able to go rafting (at least once a week), and enjoy other activities that may be going on at REO (lake paddling, kayaking, hiking, etc) and of course, enjoy our campfire entertainment.
